I doubt the rear end will look like that due to our license plate differences. Same thing with how the JDM/UK Evo 8 rear bumpers were different.

There would be no Evo IX MR, however if the past repeats itself there will be a "specail edition" Evo. Just like the TME Edition for the 6 and the GTA edition for the 7.

However, in my opinion the MR goodies will stay with the MR and America will not see any of it. Keep in mind the EVO VIII in all other country does have the 6 speed transmition, yet America sucks (when it comes down to what cars we get)!

I read somewhere that they're going to put lights in the holes at the bottom of the bumper. Overall - I like what I see. If the money is available, I'm getting one.

 

anyone know if the interior is going to change at all or if a sunroof option will be available with the aluminum roof that is supposedly going into it?

i would really like a set of automatic climate controls. if it featured auto a/c, i would strongly consider making the trade from my '04 to an '06 in the same trim. especially since it looks like i could swap most of my parts into it..

I really like the EVO9 bumper with the Ralliart lip.

 

I agree that Ralliart lip is pretty sick. I wish they had more pics of this car. That would confirm or deny if its going to have the MIVEC.



Hope they announce in March when they will be in the US. If its Jun then I'll just put in my order. Hopefully they will still have the SSL package.
