I like the cleaner upper portion of the front bumper cover (more ike the VII) but the wanna-be Gialla styling of the lower portion looks cheesey.

I like it as well...the biggest part is the lack of bumper divider on the front grille...I like the Evo 7's straight grille look....

I would definitely take this obdy style over the 8.

Looks like they went back toward earlier EVO stylying. Much better than the current Pontiac Sunbird look. Now if they'd only offer the GTA version.

safety is also something to think about. since the U.S. is a lot more strict about it, some body parts may be changed to meet the safety specs. i heard somebody talk about this is a perevious forum about the IX.

i love the look though. hope they DONT change it(wannabe Gialla is an exception)

^^^ why would you want it in automatic?? I like it a lot, not too much different than the 8 but the subtle changes are the right move.

what??? try looking at the big gapping hole in the front bumper.

yeah I don't think that rear bumper will make it pass the safety requirements in the US, but you will never know. The grill is exactly what I wanted to have done to the Evo 8 when they first showed the preview pics for it. Not liking the Gialla holes near the intercooler, but overall it's damn sweet.

Anyone wanna buy an 04WW Evo in about 1-2years??

I wonder what the mod potential of the MIVEC turbo will be. We'll finally be able to run aggressive cams profiles at the top end while maintaining a smooth idle!
