tial bov, and rvm i/c pipes. pics.

hi all, just put my new pipes and bov on. i think it looks damn good. and the bov is great. (i will be selling my u/r racing i/c pipes and hks bov soon. bov will not recirc.) i just wanted to put a couple of pics up to show all. well there is alot of work on the bottom i/c pipes to make work correctly. one bottom pipe is bent a little wrong, have to grind turbo outlet pipe for bolts to fit correctly, and find 1 bolt with a smaller head on it to clear the outlet pipe and the oil return line. had to put 1/4 spacers behind wastegate bracket to clear outlet pipe, and longer bolts. and there is a twist in the bottom pipes i cant get rid of. ill have to buy a couple different hoses to correct the prob. its livable, but it annoys me. so thats pretty much the probs i had. all and all its not a bad pipe kit, just needs some work to make them fit. you get what you pay for. someone that has limited tools might have a prob installing these. there was to many probs. too say it was just the pipes i got. if you look close at the pics youll see the probs.

Very nice looking car! That IC pipe looks sweet along with the Tial BOV. I like the little red scheme you've got going on there. What exactly is that around your intake? Also are you using the Tial with the stock turbo?

^ How's it work with the stock turbo? I thought the Tial was mainly used for upgraded turbos with a higher PSI?

alot of vw guys use this bov. usally only running 15 or 20 psi. all i can say is this bov works, sounds, and looks better than stock. hks ssqv, turbosmart, xs rfl, had them, they do not compare

^ Well being how I wouldn't have EMS I will still be running MAS, would the Tial bov be good for that or will it act up like all the other VTA BOVs? I'm looking to upgrade IC piping and the AMS w/ Tial looks very tempting but I just gotta make sure I don't get problems with the Tial. I plan on upgrading my turbo to the Buschur 20G aswell so i'll def be running higher PSI than stock.

unless you buy the maf elim. youll still have the same probs. there deffinately no way of recirc with this one. out of my 4 prev. bov with my autronic this is the only one that has drivabilty like stock.

looks nice man, very very nice job so far... and don't worry about the snow... i'm from the Hazleton Area and got more snow than you guys at your lower elevations... hehe... just go out and have fun... through some WS-50 Blizzaks on there and get one of the biggest grins you'll ever get driving a car... this is what it's all about with a Rally car... someday i'll have to met up and check out your ride... only about 35-min away from me, and you could take me for a ride in that bad boy...

Chris...
