I did mine for $2.99 from Meijer's. Testor model tint spray, candy apple red.

Seriously.. it's damn easy. Just tape up the area u DO NOT want to spray and then put in 2-3 lite coats of spray. Spray once, wait like 10mins or so, and spray again. I sprayed about 3 coats and got a darker tint than Want to Evo's tails.

Just make sure you are in a clean area cause debris will stick easily with the paint. Use acetone, if u wanna do over. Also, I've gone through alot of DIY car wash and the paint still holds. Winter, cold, salt stains, exhaust stains... still looks pretty good. Just don't brush the lights too hard or spray it intensely with the sprayer.

Want to Evo: It's all good! I had to search all over for info about which spray tint to use. Great job on yours, btw!

I guess, the only concern I have with the tinted tails or even the Evo7 tails is that the reverse lights, light up red. Might confuse other drivers/people behind you.

I'll try to get some pics this weekend, when I "might" wash the car.

Here's some... next to an STi in my parking structure.
