Its all about aesthetitcs fella. Unless you're mostly tracking the car, or constantly driving around town above 80mph, mitsu put that wing on there for how it looks. I've kept my carbon fiber wing cause I think its part of the evo 8's identity, but for just driving around town the thing is too damn big.

But really its all just opinions, and as well all well know opinions are like @ssholes: everyone's got one and most of them stink.

Am I the only one who thinks that Evo 8 wing is not that big? I mean, the Evo is a large car. The 99, and 2000 wing on the Civic Coupe was about the same size as the Evo wing, in proportion to the car.
The Supra Turbo, now that is a wing. The Evo IV, V, and VI, those are big wings. The Evo 7 and 8, not as big. The last 3000GT VR4, that is a wing.......maybe I should start a new thread.
Back on topic. I can't find the picture, but someone here put this front on his car after he trashed the stock piece. It was a stock Silver car. Stock side skirts and stock rear bumper. It was at stock ride hieght and had stock wheels. I think it looked good, and it had the Stock CF wing. I keep looking and see if I can find the pic. The blue car here is just ugly. Nothing again BBY Evos, the one in this thread looks bad.

nothn at the moment my dad just got a new digital camera so ill try to get some after i get my car back with the new clutch in it hopefully gettn the car back tonight or tomarrow

 

Thanks Chinto for being cool about posting your ride, and thanks for the hard work in finding it! That's what I wanted to see. It's especially helpful since I have a silver Evo. I have custom black paint, and would therefore go with black screens if I were to do this kit. It sounds like I have to make a decision by Tuesday. Any new pics would be appreciated. That kit looks so bad on that blue car, and not in the good way that bad can be good. Got it?
