I like the kit. Don't like that hood though. That silver EVO basically is what mine tends to look like. I liked the Kaminari (not sure if Im getting yet or not) but the CF hood, trunk, white grille and from I can see those are gunmetal rims. I may go black though.

Just to make it clear, the pictures I posted with the kit are not of my Evo. Thanks for the feedback. This kit is definately in the running for me, especially since it remains on the subtle side. Anyone know what kind of quality the CF hood is? I've heard a lot of people have problems with fitment and quality, but have not heard any feedback on this company's hood. Thanks!

i am a big fan of the factory/OEM look, but i honestly think that the kaminari kit looks decent. especially compared to the c-west and other jdm kits. it does a decent job of retaining the VIII's rounder curves.

decals and crappy scoop-screens would totally kill it though. also, keep the stock wing and stock hood.. the kaminari ones are hideous. keep the kit clean.

Im glad I could help sway at least a few of you. I love the kit, and have springs and the kit going on as soon as I get done painting it. I am in a situation where my front fascia is wrecked due to a curb it was introduced to, so it was cost effective, close to stock looking IMHO, so instead of fixing my totalled front, I bought this kit and love it. To each his own, but its not an extreme body kit worthy of the bashing you guys gave it.

can one of you photoshop guru's do everyone a favor and change the front bumper screens to black?

 

If anyone can change the screens to black, that would be awesome. My Evo's silver with custom black paint, and I've already decided I'm going with the black screens. I'm ordering the kit and hood by next week Wednesday, and I'm told I can expect my ride back by March 1st. I'll post pics here when I have her back. Thanks to everyone for their feedback. The appealing part of this kit was that it wasn't drastic, and I think it will look tight. We'll see in about a month!
