eve-slow,

I've had it dyed for about a week now. My friend originally did his S14 Nissan 240 with the same dye a year ago and it still looks good. I would only worry about long term fading if you use the back seats a whole lot. I mean with kids, etc. I'm the only one that uses my car, so it's fine. But like I said, my friend's 240 was done over a year ago and still looks good.

You could always re-dye it in a couple years if it does fade.

I did mask off the suede parts with 3m blue masking tape and newspapers.

Hope that helps.

vletnguyen,

I'm in the WestChase area occasionally. You might be seeing the other blue by you evo with the small wing.

yup... that's what i basically did... and it lasts a long time... doesn't rub off, doesn't scratch, and doesn't fade quick... here you guys go again... SEM is one of the best for the stuff, and they have all the colors under the sun...

The link is just for leather, plastic, and vinyl. I couldn't find and fabric dye on that site?

Hm... if this stuff stays, I might want to do it for both my front and rear seats. A dark gray would be a nice contrast to the black. Bump for more info.

Reviving this from the crypt. I love the dyed seats. Are they still holding up since Feb? I plan to dye my grey headliner black first, then if I am happy with it I will do my seats too. I am having a hard tome finding SEM Fabric Dye, or any decent looking upholstery dye. Can you steer me toward a good source?
