Well I'm not trying to fool anyone to race them. With the small wing I'm trying not to stand out so much to the police.

I'm just curious to know why ppl don't think "Lancer" doesn't fit the Evo? The Evolution is a Lancer. If to even pay attention to WRC they refer to it as the Lancer. Just as the WRX and STi are Impreza's. If anything the Lancer emblem belong on the car more than the Evolution.

forget what others say. if you like it do it. there will always be people to hate. there will also be people who like it. i can't tell you how many people try to hate on my car but the people who love it far outweigh the others. i can tell them about how i got my car before the evo was available in america but i always get the"why didn't you just buy an evo instead of trying to make one?" .i personally think it will be nice because it will be different and won't be a ricey thing like the shopping cart handle aluminum wings. so do it.03EVOLUTIONVIII

 

The evo and the lancer have 4 doors, are made by mitsubishi, and have the same trunk lid and door inserts; that's were the similarities end. The frame is strengthened in so many more places you can't call them the same, it's AWD vs. FWD, it's a turbo vs. N/A, all different body panels, different suspension, and I can go on for a few more hours. So what if the WRC car is a lancer; you can tell by the lights it is. I'm for one am glad the evo isn't so affiliated with the WRC car....I mean look at that wing! That's why everyone is posting that it's a downgrade to call you're evo a lancer :...

 

You're an idiot! The Evo is a Lancer. Just because the Engine, and suspention is different doesn't mean that its not a Lancer. The interior is the same other than the Recaros. Go to the Mitsu dealership and look at both! As a matter of fact I'm done discussing this with you. You have no idea of what you're talking about.

 

it is a different trim level. that is like saying the STI and a 2.5rs are not imprezas or the sti is not a wrx. they are all imprezas and the sti is a wrx sti. why do you think it has lancer small in the corner of the trunk. oh wait it isn't a lancer they just tried to fool us and put it there for fun didn't they. if you don't like it don't do it to your car. otherwise all you criticizing 03evolutionviii need to STFU.
