Going to install something simple/cheap:
1. 4 sony 3 way speakers peak 220 W Rms 55W
2. Sony 2100GTX Amp for sub --peak 600w, RMs 250W @ 4ohms
3. 10"sony sub 40-300w Rms
4. JVC- head unit 50Wx4

I just wanted to replace stock unit for a little better sound quality, nothing fancy for the neighborhood to hear. Am I going to need a cap or even upgrade my alt? or should the stock alt, battery be able to handle it?

 

Couldn't hurt anything. Caps aren't that expensive so i would just to be on the safe side.

 

yeah... it'll only make it cleaner and more contained.

all you need is 1 farad with that setup.

2 is always good incase you decide to upgrade later.
