do-luck is the authentic piece at $600 (also the carbing lip which is the same lip but in a different carbon weave and is cheaper) and the street concept and any other that you see is a replica.... hence the "DO" in the title of the thread..... hope this helps...

This is plain old stupid. First you guys post up that its $300, then it mysteriously goes up to $400, that's very disrespectful to the Evo communtiy. Man, Everyone should take a step back and stop paying so much for a very small piece of CF. I like the lip, dont get me wrong, but even $250 is too much for a small piece that may very well get totaled once you go through a pothole anyhow. Geez, you can buy a CF hood for under $400 and that uses way more CF material, fiberglass skeleton, metal hardware, and its usually imported.

Where did you get this information at? I had the chance to speak with Heru today and he told me that there are ALOT of rumors going around and this one you speak of is false. I was told today that my lip should be done and ready to ship within 10-12 days.

All you guys that are pissed about the rumor of prices going up or whatever, call the shop, talk to Heru himself, and get it straightened out. Instead of b!tching and moaning about all the rumors. It literally took me 10 minutes to pick up the damn phone, ask my questions, and make my choice to order or not. This was a VERY easy purchase and you all are making it alot harder than it actually is.

I don't understand why all of you are complaining about the price. It is more than $200 cheaper than the "real" DoLuck lip and you all are complaining. It cracks me up that someone goes out of their way to make a alternative for something that everyone would like to have and sure enough someone has the nerve to b!tch about it.

What makes you think this lip doesn't have a fiberglass skeleton? Not all C/F hoods are imported. VIS and Fiber Images are made in house just like this lip is. All these companies are making these peices cheaper for us so we don't have to pay too much for a "imported" body panel.

 

 

I will post the pricing by next monday or tuesday the latest. I will have 3 different prices.

1. Regular Fiber glass (black shiny finish)
2. 1x1 Wet Carbon (same pattern as the oem wing)
3. -- MAYBE -- 1x1 Dry Carbon (we will try out this saturday)

For those who already paid, you maynot able to change / upgrade the order, because we already stocked the material (sorry)

FYI: Dry carbons parts are made by regular carbon, but it needs 2x more carbon materials + special reinforcement + and special tools needed to make it happen.
You can find dry carbon in good-helmet, formula 1 chassis and even in bullet-proff jacket.

Advantage: VERY-VERY LIGHT + VERY STRONG
Disadvantage: Priceyyyyyyyy + Not shiny (dull)
we will post some video to show how strong and many picture (promise by monday)

I know cause I took the trouble to make an overseas call to see what's the deal. I spoke to Ray apparently cause Heru was out. And he is the one who told me they came from the same mould regardless if it's fiberglass or carbon. As of today he also said some dude made an order for a 100 pieces and the waiting period would be around 2 months.

Mine is not glued nor sticker. Theyre the same as stock lip that uses same bolts.

 

Is the 1X1 Wet Carbon the same one that is on your car right now? I figure so since it has a shinny look to it. That is the one I wanted anyways so I could care less about upgrading. Just as long as it is sturdy and strong...I don't care. The sooner I get it....the better.
