Took off my oem trunk with mines CF lip and fitted up a genuine CF Do-Luck trunk with keyhole:

 

that is a CLEAN MEAN 7 right there well done !

Did you get that trunk new or used?

 

New from Japan.

 

Oh really? For some reason I thought they were out of production.

 

Not as far as I know they are made to order. They only make the carbon version with or without keyhole for CT9A but they make the FRP and carbon one for the X's.

I hit up Jesse Streeter over in Japan and he organised it took 4-6 weeks to make and 1 to send via EMS cost just over 2k landed in AUD. cheaper if was sent by container/sea freight.

what are you guys using to cover up the holes? Anybody ever tried wrapping just the top of the trunk?

 

I had my OEM trunk holes welded and then re-painted as wasn't going to put the wing back on
