Ok, I NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT SPEAKERS WILL FIT IN MY LANCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I have recently replaced my head unit with a new Pioneer unit. I also replaced my front speakers, or at least tried too. 1st set I got was MBQUART D 116's. They are 6.5 BUT they said they come with mounting brackets to fit easily. Not even close, not even an idea of what they would think about fitting.

SO they went back for top of the Line Pioneer Premier's. Read the box, HEY it says "6"3/4's compatible” Oh so I am set right? WRONG!! Most 6 3/4"s are 6 1/2"s with slightly larger mounts. They were still too small to fit properly. It was closer though, I had to use washers to make them fit.

Anyways I am looking to replace my Rears now, what speaker will fit EXACTLY, PERFECTLY, NO B.S., just fitment.

HELP

Do some searching....you will find plenty of info.

IMO however, putting in the speaker you want is worth the hassle of getting a mounting bracket for it. The front component speakers I want wont even clear the glass with stock mounting position...not gonna stop me though!

I have searched this entire site using every combination of words and phrases. Not one definitive set has been established, all need some modification of some sort.

I want 100% bolt on, spacer plate is ok, but must fit perfectly too.

Kenwood Excellon 6 3/4" coaxials. With the proper deck (alpine in my case) they will make your car sound like you're using a subwoofer in the trunk. I have competition Kenwood (cyclone) midbass drivers in my doors (6 3/4) and my car puts out chest pounding bass.

These fit perfectly? Just plug in and that is is? This may be what I am looking for, lemy know, thank you..... BTW, stay away from springs for your car, go coilover or don't go at all, seriously the Evo struts are not ment to be lowered.

This might help you!! You are going to have to get spacers cut out for 6 1/2 to fit properly! I have Alpine 6 1/2 and I had to get spacers cut for them so they can fit properly! Two things will happen if you don't have the spacers! 1st is they don't fit and the 2nd thing is if the magnet is to big is will hit the glass, so becareful!! Hope this helps!!! Good Luck!!
