Greddy Ti exhaust extension mod

The only downside to this exhaust is that it comes up a bit short of the bumper. Took it to the shop to have it extended 1 inch longer. before and after pics

Most shops weld 2 or 3 flanges together for a thicker flange at the cat or downpipe.

that's what mine is. doesnt add enough weight to matter and it clears the bumper. But some people can weld Ti to add an inch spacer.

JIC sends a piece like that with their exhaust, and it works great. It bolts up to that hole for the silencer. I have an Espelir exhaust and its made for JDM evos, so it comes up short as well...i need to see if it fits on my tip and then try to order it...

they extended the test pipe by welding about a inch in lenght. was going to put couple of flanges but didnt know if putting three together would leak. the shop did a very clean job welding it

I have the the same exhaust (without the rolled tip) and mine still clears the bumper fine. I heard about how some exhausts can melt the bumper off so i bought a heat shield. Maybe the place where i got it installed extended it without mentioning it to me, but im pretty sure it cleard the bumper without any modifications.
