Question e-bay white face gauges question

For those with the e-bay white face gauges. How difficult is to put them by your self in a scale of 1-10?

Which gauges are you talking about? Boost/EGT/OilPres./etc. gauges or the gauge cluster with speedo/tach/etc ?

It's pretty easy. Just have a friend come over to help in case you're kind of dumb. That's what I did after I installed mine and had to pull it back out because the tach needle was getting hung up.

Personally, I think the hardest part is getting the gauge pod out. I was afraid of pulling too hard and breaking something. Eventually I got it out. Several times. LOL

You'll need a soldering iron if you want to do it right.

I didn't need a soldering iron until one of the wires broke off the rheostat. They just don't provide enough wire to properly mount it. Other than that, maybe a 2 on a scale to 10.

Geez, I just remembered that I had more problems than what I had first posted. I PM'd a guy on this forum (Avengerhed) for some advice when I installed my gauge overlays. With his help I got them installed. Then a day or two later I had a friend come over after my tach needle was sticking.
