Silver tails -silver badge, MR(black) tails- black badge. My .02 cents. Then again search thru WW show/shine threads for examples. One of my favorite mods.

I'm putting a black one on this weekend. Is there a vendor who sells black stars, or is there a way to non-ghetto paint the silver star?

Take off your badging and buy the new adhesive you can either use a paint gun or even use your favorite spray paint. I sanded it down first, primered it and painted it with some House of Kolor jet black paint i had laying around. Then i took it to a body shop and had them spray 3 clear coats on it...almost overkill but i didnt have any clear coat and wanted it done correctly. Turned out well.
