I have not recieved my battery tray yet.... was wondering if it had shipped yet or not? I have not gotten a shipment notice on my email yet? It was ordered on 08-15-05.

 

What do you mean? or should i ask what do you have in mind? Ours stretches a little bit but nothing major.

 

The catch can I use is basically mounted to the bracket (like yours in the above pic), but if you had a "U" shaped piece of steel or aluminum that could pull the oil catch off (1-2") of the bracket, it would give the positive cables more room between the catch and the bracket, rather than over the top. My positive terminal is stretched fairly tight, so I might see if I can fab up something!! If I do, I'll be sure to post pics!!!

 

the only thing i would be worried about is that in that case the catch can will interfear with some of the hard pipe kits. or am i still not thinking right?

 

Just wanted to thank everyone who stuck out the long wait to get these made. Hopefully if you were on the list, you purchased one, have it installed, and like it!

 

Quick question. I recieved my tray last night and everything looks good, but the black paint is pretty scuffed up. Wouldn't be so bad, but it is on the top and sides that show. It almost looks like it was stack while still wet or something. Can this be sanded and recoated? Never worked with anodized metal.

Just received & installed mine... Install was easy. Quality is very nice. Was able to attach my (greddy) oil catch can with no problems. Will try to post pics soon.

but why is my catch can SILVER instead of POLISHED?
anyone else got a silver one too?
doesn't it say catch can is polished in ur website?
