Once I know the price and agree with it, I'll be taking care of getting them all in my hands with the rest of the parts. Once I have everything here... I will be contacting everyone, getting payment, paying the evom vendor fees, and shipping these out to everyone. TRD is helping me out on this, there is another place interested in making these if his price is not what I am looking for. So far, he is the only one with the cad drawings and I'd like to keep it that way. He has been a great help through all of this and I can't wait to pay for the pieces and have them shipped to me. Once they're here, they will be packed with the nuts, bolts, washers, and instructions to be shipped out to everyone. Waiting sucks, but at least this time the person helping me is actually working WITH me.

You're not too late, I'm just waiting on TRDHarrier to get back to me with the price. If it sounds good, I'm just going to have a bunch of them made and shipped to me. From there I'll go down the list, take payment, and ship them out to everybody.

The wait is about over!

NEW PLAN!!!! GSC will be accepting the rights to this battery tray, having them manufatured and distributed. For those who have waited, you now have nothing to worry about, an actual reputable company will be making these. Thanks again for sticking out the long wait, we will let you all know the production dates once they recieve the files from me.

Definately a good company, I have bought stuff from them before, very helpful too. Hopefully we can get this done soon.

Yeah, they're a great company...I'm also using their parts on my car. Once they get the file from me (I'm at work now so it'll wait until I get home) I'm sure they will get these ready quick for everybody.

does this use the same 4 mounting attachments as the original tray? Does it rest on the mount or is it above it?

As is, the tray utilizes the two angled stock bolts. It sits just above the mount and is stiff enough that there is no movement what-so-ever. For those with a electronic boost control solenoid, it leaves just enough room to use the stock tray hole as a mounting point (see pics below). So this tray holds the mini-battery firmly, holds the oil-catch can in a great location, looks great, and also leaves a mounting place for something else (boost solenoid). I'm expecting a TON of these to sell from GSC with great reviews.

We are working on that right now i have the CAD files and am looking into a few small changes. one we are thinking about aluminum and polishing it and 2 we are going to you 3/8th hardware so that the tray is NHRA and NDRA legal. We are going to shoot for the $100-$150 range. We should have a revised prototype in the coming weeks. I would say 2-4 weeks till sales will begin on them.

Think of it this way, the "other" trays that were just introduced sold for over $150 without a battery and did only that...held a battery. This was designed and tested to hold the battery securely (very securely), your oil-catch can bolts right onto it for perfect placement, and it leaves the extra threaded bolt hole to mount anything else there (boost controller). For a tray that looks this nice, and has this much function...I don't think price should be an issue. If anybody has any other questions, feel free to ask. Greg has the full CAD file now.
