Hey everyone... I just finished making these guage faces based off the design of Combat's before he dissapeared.... They are not perfect by far but I feel that they are much better than the stock tach and speedometer...

Let me know what you would pay for these if I decided to sell them... I was thinking maybe $25 shiped....

It doesn't look bright enough at night.

I drove around a bit last night and it seemed much brighter than the factory gauges.... The camera angle seemed to make it look dim around the top but I didn't notice any difference in light dispersal looking at them in person...

Again... these are just printed faces and I'm still working on the warning lights trying to make them not show up as much in daylight... So far this looks great at night.

If you have any suggestions on how I could make the warnings appear black then glow red when light is behind let me know....

 

imho, i would leave the original look of the speedometer.... i think its so much nicer... all i would do is to just get a hold of the JDMs first right corner (where ur intercooler spray and safety belt sign is) front facia piece.... written EVOLUTION.... that looks much better..

 

 

^^ Copy and paste the pictures they work, I agree with Notiguy I would only change the lancer to EVOLUTION on the right side.

 

I was thinking about how I would change that to evolution and have already made it.. I just need to try and figure out how to make it not look like the lights are on when the sun shines on them. (I ran into that problem today driving around)

If I could figure out how to do that I would be set to make it say evolution also.... (Would you prefere it to say EVOLUTION with the VIII under it or just the EVOLUTION when the LANCER is?) I'm also going to try some blue gel covers tomorrow night to see if that helps make the light look a little more even...

I would've bought them had i not bought gauges to match the purdy amber color.

 

Call me crazy, but I like the stock gauges...
