It idles perfectly...but it's recirculated back into the intake, just like the stock one...I think it's partially open-air vented because it's still pretty loud, but I haven't had any problems with idle at all.How does your car idle with the Turbo XS BOV. Nice evo, looks like mine except you have a better shifter. That is a cool touch for the interior.

Yeah the Turbo XS BOV is I think the loudest BOV that doesn't VTA. The more washers you add the quicker it spools I think. I am running 5 on mine and spools pretty fast. Nice sound too its kinda like my anti deer deterant. Just rev a little and let the BOV blow. Sends the deer dashing for the woods. Enjoy the car and happy modding.
