Trip to Detroit: Nexus gauges and scenery

I took a little trip down to the Tuning Factory in Farmington Hills, MI (West of Detroit) to have my Autometer Nexus boost and EGT gauges installed this past weekend. Here are some pics from over the course of the weekend, including some great Detroit skyline pics.

As far as my impression of the gauges - I think they're great. The red on the second to last "dim" setting matches with the stock gauges very well, and the white is pretty visible during the daytime (still have some direct-sun issues, but oh well). The recordability function is cool, although will probably rarely be used, and the warning and peak functions are very useful and easy to program. I like them a lot!

hey can you post a write-up on what you think about the gauges and how accurate/reliable they are? i am looking into buying these, but would like opinions from people that already have them.

thanks

From what I've read, they are complete crap; I too was considering them, but ended up doing Defi Bf's again...

yea but i thought Autometer was going to fix those problems....?

i love the Defi's but i just think that 60mm is too damn big for the street....those things are HUGE. well from pics they look so big. i wish they made the d-gauges again in amber or have the Link Meter gauges in amber in a 52mm.....

60MM is not too big...in fact, most people would say 52mm is too small.
