Wheels Waxed

So i took off each wheel and washed them INCREDIBLY well and let them dry in the sun. then brought them in the shade to cool off and waxed each one. they look SO great and the brake dust comes off SO easily now. i recommend it for you **** types anyways, heres some pics. the dirty ones were take in the sun and the clean ones in the shade. the difference was really a LOT more than whats shown.

yeah, what harm could be done by waxing them? i know waxing the lip might be a bad idea because the tire might slip around on the wheel or whatever, but other than that, why would it be a bad idea?

That wax won't last long. One drive in the rain and it's finished. That's why I never wax my rims, it's like fighting a losing battle..

I spent the $15 for wheel wax from tirerack. Probably overpriced by $10 but it's lasted me so far -- about 1.5 months. dust washes of easily. I suppose the wax is "made" for the wheels. hocus pocus.

Hmm, maybe I'll try that , thanks. It will complement the More Shine Less Time for the tires.
