Got tired of looking at the disgusting reddish/brown stock valve cover. So, I painted it black. I think it looks alot better.

Isn't that the mitsu upgraded strut bar painted? Valve cover looks really good. I'd do that if I knew how to paint.

 

are they available at mitsu dealer? do i need to buy the whole strut or i can just buy the red things on both side? any1 know the part#? thanks in advance. sorry for .

Thanks everyone and I painted it with a spray can of high temp black. My buddy is a professional painter, so I figured if I screwed it up he could fix it. It was very easy to do. Just removed and put a few light coats on. The strut bar is factory Mits. Don't know the part #. A friend gave it to me.

 

good idea, but the paint looks to flat.. since you used hitemp paint did you bake it.. if not, is going to look bad in awhile..

 

did you guys just spray the high temp black on it only? or did you you guys put clear coat on it too?. also, did you wet sand it?...
