Well which one do you like better? I'm only talking about the EVO8 bumpers not the 9s. I'm contemplating if I should throw down and buy the JDM one, but one of the things holding me back is that I already have a Vishnu Rear Diffuser [great piece btw].

they are both nice...probably would take the jdm simply because mine is the usdm...vise versa...

 

stay usdm. just cause its from Japan doesnt make it better. personally i like the lines on the US better

Yeah i've seen your car before and I like the difference. Just wondering how much your body shop charged for it?

I would buy the EVO9, but the 04' Weightless White doesn't match with the IXs 05' Wicked White.

 

I had to respray the bumper due to a parking lot incident this winter. While it was in the shop i decided to get rid of those ugly corner markers. I think i ended up paying round $350 for everything (paint and labor). I know its not the cheapest route, but i wanted to change the look but still retain my rear crash beam....

definitely JDM one is 100 times better but not worth for $.
..but the XI rear,, thats very different story

i anywayz wonder if the JDM peeps ever said that they wanted the USDM look for there bumper???hmmm.....

 

The JDM one look sooo much better for two reasons...

1) Body Line. The body line that begins in the front fender continues around the JDM one. However the USDM on ends in the door.

2) Rear "Spat". For lack of better term, the stock "side skirt" again doesn't match the USCM rear bumper. The JDM however, has the awesome looking rear piece that matche *perfectly*.

Also, I don't really like the whole "J-Lo" booty on the USDM one... but if you're into that......

Either USDM VIII bumper or JDM IX bumper. JDM VIII bumper is too plain.
