1.nobody else for evo's
2.only threw AAR i beleave, but i'm sure any vendor can get it for ya.

the 1 thing i notice everytime i have seen the sparco evo with the AAR cf products of the car, the dry carbon looks bad from being in the sun.spots, and other weird stuff going on when you really look at it.

Dry CF is basically CF material with the resin impregnated into the fibers. It shaped usually over a mold vaccumm bagged and baked. This baking process melts the pre impregnated resin and creates a the solid form. Usually weighs less and i generally accepted as the greater quality of the two processes.

Wet CF is shaped and resin is poured over it, making a solid form.

Dry is much cleaner looking not that quality cant exist with the wet stuff though. I prefer the look of Dry

because of the process (as nemesis pointed out) dry is not only lighter, but stronger

i agree it does look better (doesn't have the super glossy "wet" look) too

edit: i should mention the "dry" process is what is used in high end applications, ie aircraft and nautical use

I would guess then that the CF on the wing is "wet". I'm sure Mitsu would go with the easier/cheaper method.

The sparco evo's hood and trunk lid are in pretty bad shape. They are sun beaten and worn pretty badly and if i were the owner i would paint over them.

Here it is last saturday in ohio

The exhaust shield is the wet look, the trunk and the hood is the dry.

I think Varis makes a couple of CF hoods - one of which is dry CF; $$$$$.

Call Bulletproof?
