I've decided I'll be purchasing an Apex Silver Evolution VIII in the next two weeks or so. I'm just curious on the Apex Silver, what types of rims is everyone rocking? I've seen gold volks and black(chrome lip) SSR I think professors might be their name. I'm just looking for opinions on what type and color you guys think set the Apex silver off? Also if you can tell me what lowering springs you might have and how they effected your ride that qould be great.

I heard Tein S-tech give a nice drop and don't mess up the ride quality too much, true?

I just put on a set of boyd wheels .

 

I'm on my 2nd silver Evo, 03 and an 05MR. I dig the BBS wheels on the MR, but if I went aftermarket...I'd probably go black with a polished lip. Solid black doesn't work for me too well, but with the polished lip...well, that's just my favorite wheel.

 

I have the bronze FN01rc's and they look SWEET on my apex silver
