if its not an MR dont put MR on it. Next you will be telling all the local ricers its an MR.

 

Oops. I read the installed options wrong. You are right it does not come with the aluminum roof, maybe that's why I got the sunroof instead.

yeah .. having MR head and tail lights, vortex generator is ok .. but the badging is abit ricy ..

but if you're gonna put the MR badging .. mind as well put the FQ badging also.. hehe

I like that badge... as long as you leave off the MR part... Very cool... I too have a Evo 8 gsr and I would never think of putting badges on it that don't belong... Besides I like a little mystery when I blow that RX-8s doors off.

Correct me if im wrong but doesn't MR stand for Mitsubishi Racing? I think it's fine unless your going around saying you own a MR edition Evo. I've seen plenty of Wrx's rocking the STI badges. Don't hate the player, hate the game...

 

Sti is subaru's tuning division though... which would be the same as mr if it does stand for mitsu racing. Anybody confirm that?

 

MR does stand for Mitsubishi Racing but sporting a badge on a car that's not the car is just dumb and ricest. Like they said, it's like one of these 1.8L POS Civic's that doesn't even have v-tec having Vtec and Type-R stickers all over it.

 

 

I still don't see anything "ricey" about putting on a MR badge. All it stands for is Mitsubishi Racing, Now if he had the original MR EDITION badge, that's a different story. Whatever, I am rocking a Ralli///Art emblem, so consider me a ricer (haven't seen another Evo with it in GA yet.) ;P

 

The badge is a JDM version. It does not come on the US version MR. It does how ever come on the MR in Japan. Its just a nice badge, it does not say I have an MR.
