600+whp in a FWD street car is pretty useless...

not to mention the dang thing is ugly as sin...the headlights, front bumper, and flame hood need to go

Euro styling is all about clean lines and such IMO

the engine bay is nice though

If you are spending all this money why not get EIP to convert it to AWD! Then you would have something!

The VW 1.8T is a great motor. It can handle a lot of power on the stock block and are easy to make fast. Now the GTI at hand is very ugly but if it gets down the track that will be great. I would much rather take this little screamer though.

I like GTIs but did you ask yourself how he is going to put this power to the ground? GTI's already have mad wheel hop stock.

thats a lie. a gti with no ac, no dash supports, no center ocnsole, no airbags, no back seats, no headliner, no pillars,no trunk trim, bucket front seats, aftermarket steering wheel, no sunroof and light weight 17's weighs in at 2450ish. Id like to know where your friend saved the other 250lbs.
