its my buddys car..he loves it, i think the looks are pretty nice maybe a different color would make it look cleaner..but the car is SICK, and it shoudl show some 10 sec passes as well..and probbaly make about 150more whp that that black gti...only time will tell, and tuning...i will keep you all posted!!

My 83 Gti is 2200 lbs. But I don't think for the later Gtis will get to 2200 lbs. without tons of weight savings.

 

I just dont get half the jacka$$es w/ the rude a$$ comments. I bet the car is killer in person. Just think what $30K would have done to an Evo though

 

i will be the first one to admit that the orange gti on page one is just done up wrong on the outside, but gti's are far from ulgy. i owned one as my first car, it was a 1.8t and i loved it to death. i now own an evo but i still have a heart for german cars.

 

motor looks spectacular but the exterior is alright, i guess. not to be an *** but that neuspeed sticker has to go! not as bad as some jackass's that put them on the rear window of a V6 MUSTANG!

 

Nice numbers but car doesn't look to good. Maybe it's the color, hood and headlights?

id have to agree put the car on a scale @ a truck station or a rock place. There is no way its that light. I had a mk3 body and it weighed 2800 and i know the mk4s are even heavier. Lets see some dyno sheets also I want to see the 600whp IVe only seen a vr6 turbo come that close.

 

i dont know..he said its how much it weights, not my car...all i know is we raced from a roll me on 22psi him on 7psi and i only beat him by about 4 car lenths....i have less than my signature says cause i was on low boost and pump, probably mid 350's or so...its quick i can only imagine with 30+ psi!!
