Dash Shaking Like a Mofo!!! NEED HELP!
Here is the story. I take my car into the dealership to check out the turbo because an after market parts installer told me the turbo fins on the intake side were off center. So, the dealer checks out the turbo and of course no issue.
Next, they tell me they are putting in a new heater box. I am like, what??? Why are you doing that? They say the heater controls are not turning easily. I tell then another dealer has replaced the rods and that it is ok. They say, this will help make it better. Well, it turns out that they take the whole friggin dash out to do this. Now the whole dam dash shakes at idle when the AC in on. I have an engine damper, but this never happen before. I am pretty pissed at this. I wish I had never let the tards take apart my dash.
Does anyone know what would cause this to happen? Any stereo installers have any ideas?? Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to take it back to the tards.

i just took my dash out to paint it, there are seriously like 50 plus bolts and screws. My first suggestion would be to look at the top of the dash where it lines up with the windshield. make sure its nice and flush because that part is a huge b***h to line up and get into its snap holes.

I can tell you theres not supposed to be a gap there. When they put it back in they probably missed the snap holes. When putting the top part of the dash in they need to push down on it and then push it forward. They probably just pushed forward.
Try placing your hand on the top of the dash and pushing down on it. This wont fix the problem but if it moves a lot this would further confirm my belief that they missed those front snaps.

anytime you take the factory dash out, you'll going to have major shakes.
It's a given in a jap car.
it's never gonna be the same.
what you need to do is put some foam or something between the dash to minimize it.
If dealer tries it, they'll take forever and they'll still never get it right. well, most dealers that is. The good ones know how to, others don't.
