I would bet it's a rally thing. when you roll a car the first parts that you loose are the door handles and mirrors. that makes it easy to stock spares when you only have to stock one color - black.

Here's what's I think is a lot better than USDM:

- double din stereo slot (perfect for NAV!) with climate control below
- beautiful black combo recaros
- rear bumper
- german-style intergrated key (?)

btw, those came out for the jdm/euro evo 8 so its not new for the jdm/euro evo9.. the states always get the downgraded ones so i dont think we'll get it

it'll fit but you need to have to swap out the whole different climate unit, because it's got more sensors for automatic climate controls.

like the temp sensor and etc
