I am not liking the new bumpers. What are the two holes in the front bumper for and what is with the back bumper having the section in the middle that is not painted the same color? Is it a model thing because I notice the blue and silver ones have the normal rear bumper? On a plus note I like Key/Fob combo, the addition of climate control, new radio looks cool also.

Those pics are a mix and match of USDM and JDM models. Clearly, it is getting many people confused.

Note: Anything with the rear diffuser is JDM. The US got shafted on that one. Same with the climate controls. It looks like the US WILL be getting the new seats, though.

tell me you didn't cut your stock one.

anyway, the holes in the new evo 9 bumper is for the lower IC pipe, it helps bring air in and cools it.

That "wind noise reducing" feature looks interesting. Got anymore info on it?

I really likemthe rear bumper, but no to big on the front. The concept of the holes in the bumper for the intercooler are interesting.

I'm not entirely sure how directing air to the IC pipes will really help... it's not like cooling the pipes themselves is necessarily going to cool the air circulating in the IC pipes.

To me, it seems like Mits is trying to justify a styling cue they took from some aftermarket bumpers.

How hard would it be to get the "Climate controls/Relocation kit" as a group buy? If at all possible.....

Can't do the climate controls, at least, not the automatic ones. Those use electric motors and sensors, whereas our cars use mechanical pull cables. It's a completely different system, and the cost in swapping it is pretty expensive, and in the end, just isn't worth it.

However, there is a relocation kit being made right now to relocate the controls to the lower cubby, using a 3G eclipse's controls. It is still manual though, and not automatic like the JDM setup.

Why not? That's the COOL way

No, I traded with another DC member who wanted an extra long one for some weird reason... That was my first mod.

Maybe color wise but not the nice high thigh support. We're "fat" so we don't get it

same, probably.

I'm hoping they'll include the new blue on the mR lineup.
