Paint Defect?

Angry Paint Defect?

well i was washing my car not too long ago and i found a small ding, but the ding didnt go inward it was sticking out like something hit it from the inside? anybody know what i can do to fix this? maybe take it to the dealership?

I have the same thing (i think) on the rear bumper but that was after having it repainted by a body shop. They are repairing that part of my bumper for free, so if that's any precident, I would assume the manufacturer would fix that for free since it shouldn't be happening. Even if they won't fix it it's not the end of the world, cuz someone is bound to hit your car eventually (mine has been hit by three cars) and you'll get it repainted anyways. Good luck!!

i had my whole car repainted because of a type of paint defect.....doesn;t sound like its quite the same problem as yours though. Dealership should cover it...they did for me.

They would definitely do it unless they come up with some stupid arguement like "you waxed it too much" Dealers a Biatch when it comes to warranty especially if youre not running stock...but i would definitely get it checked out by the dealer...
