Is there only 4 screws to unscrew? It still won't budge after taken all 4 off. Is there any trick to it?

 

There is some double sided tape as well as 2 clips in the wing. You have to use some muscle. The tape should pop off with some effort. Hope this helps.

 

on another note, what size are the bolts?

 

They are 10mm


Yea after the four screws just lift each said with a lot of muscle and it will come right off. NO CLips!

assuming since you posted this thread in the evo forum, that you have an evo. why are you taking off your wing? if you don't like the big wing look, I am selling my stock spoiler off of my RA for a reasonable price. if you just don't want that big wing look, and if you want something nice and not aggressive looking then PM me.

 

There are only the four bolts holding it on. Just pull with a steady amount of force until you feel the adhesive start to give. I pulled from front to back on both sides equally. Just be careful not to scratch your paint.

 

how is it when you put it back on? Any diffrent i want to check out the look but im sure i will go back to wing.

 

they sell 2x tape at autozone for 3 bucks

 

Definitely use the fishing line..makes it a lot easier to remove. I took mine off and will be selling it off soon.

btw.. will a 04 ralliart spoiler fit on a evo 8? I mean, there would be adjusments but, where there be a lot of adjustments for putting a ralliart spoiler on a evo? it, does it just not fit at all??
