A buddy of mine made a video of my car at a local Mustang meet I decided to crash with a buddy of mine.

Yeah....I kind of bogged the launch. If you listen real close under the music while I'm talking to my buddy taping you can hear the chatter of the Exedy twin disk.

Thanks. It might be going on the ol' chopping block here soon. I just heard that Ford may be laying some people off and I could be one of them.

I'm getting my car into the body shop real soon to fix the damage from being rear ended and side swiped real soon. By then I should know if I'm laid off or not. The vid was before I was rear ended, but after I got side swiped. Neither was that bad to really see though.

very nice, you should put together a compilation of you and your friends car just doin some pulls, launches, and flybys, **** like that, i bet it would turn out really well.

 

i take it that you work at the louisville plant? i have some good friends that are managers there. hope you're not one of those getting laid off.

 

Yeah....I work at the Big Truck Plant that makes the 250, 350, 450, 550, and the Excursion. The last Excursion will be built Sept. 30th. We have two plants in Louisville. The other builds the Explorer.

I'm not sure whats gonna happen as of now. They are trying to get all the old fossils that are able to retire out of there by giving them some kind of retirement package. Hopefully these old fawkers will go. I could NEVER imagine working 45 years.....NEVER. We have guys that have been there that long. Is it a bad thing to wish death on someone that old?

I'm not really worried about my car. I'm worried about my wife that is due in 3 months.

I didn't make the video. All the footage was from a Mustang meet a few weeks ago so all the vid you see is what he took of my car that night. There wasn't alot of room and too many nice cars around to do donuts. To be honest, I've never done them in the 2.5 years I've owned my car.
