It's a Carbing strut bar. He probably just did a cam swap or timing belt job.

Cheers mate, yeah as 11secDSM said it's a Carbing brace, it has the built in brake booster support, instead of having to run a brace & a Ralliart stlye support.

As for the Zip Tie, that was there to keep the timing correct as we where pulling things off a bit lower.

The container is the water sprayer container, I have a cold air duct going though my headlight so we had to more the std one. The battery was moved to under the passenger seat using a Braille style battery. This free'd up the space to put the bigger sprayer conatiner in & also run a big lid so we can fill with ice, on the hotter days I could use 5L of water in one session on the track.

What rock do you live under? j/k It's a very popular choice as it's 90mm and very easily and inexpensively had.

I guess you learn something new everyday. Sounds like a bit of overkill but ok. Im sticking with a 65mm for now.

Sweeeet engine bay...couple of questions:

I see you have a Mishimoto rad...is it from another car? I would love to have the rad neck on that side. Also what upper rad hose you using. Very nice set up!!!!

and pardon my ignorance...I see no PCV valve...
