Two Tone Heatshield
Two Tone Heatshield
Did this with my buddy this weekend to his WW Evo.
1) Remove 4 plastic screws and 2 metal clips.
2) Clean top of heatshield, Let Dry
3) Paint Black (or whatever color you want) base coat of 500° Paint.
4) Tape off fins with Painters tape.

5) Paint fins in White (or whatever color you want) thin quick coats of 500° Paint (we used 5 coats)

6) Clearcoat that crap out of it to achieve the gloss you want with 500° Clear Coat
7) Remove painters tape, Slowly being sure to not peel up paint, Install.

When I saw this post title I was thinking heatshield for exhaust. I was confused as to why somebody would paint their exhaust heatshield 2 colors.
