painted red dash mod

Hey guys,

I know alot of you don't care for painted dashes, but I wanted to practice my painting skills and see what happened. Here's the result. Comments welcome.

Very nice, I like it. It seemed a little glossy at first look, but it grows on you.

Pretty cool. I would never do it though. Wait until someone scratches it

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I used Rustoleum paint for plastic, no primer, no clear and no sanding done. I'm not sure how it's going to hold up, but I was going to see and if it scratches up, I'll probably take it apart and either redo it with all the proper steps, or put it back to stock. Give me something to do...

Looks nice. I am not a huge fan of painted dashes either, but you definitely did it nicer than most people would do. To each his own...

It might not scratch up as bad as you think. That plastic paint holds up outdoors, so you'd think it'd have some resistance to scratching. Guess time will tell.

It looks good man, not everyone is gonna like it but OH WELL. The EVO's interior is boring as hell anyway. That just jazzed it up some for you.
