Water spots!

Ok, I have a problem.

On the driver's side window of my car there are water spots that I cannot remove. I'm going to assume it was well water that set in for about over a week. Now, these spots were on the paint as well but the clay bar took care of that.

I have tried feverishly to get rid of the spots on the window with a clay bar, soap and water, gasoline, even Windex with NO luck. These spots are hard as HELL to get out

So does anyone know any possible abrasives or a product that will remove them? Or am I screwed

roller,
yeah i know the feeling, especially for a heavily tinted car the spots are well pronounced. i used a glass cleaning paste but it took me 2 day to buff the windshield and windows. the paste seems too abrasive since u can feel some parts of the glass came off on the residue. another bad thing is its a local product in the philippines.
anyways, try looking on the meguiar's hard water spot remover. though havent tried it but the name can speak for itself.
goodluck and hope u wont need much bicep HP

Use the water/vinegar mix. You won't be dissapointed and it takes just seconds to remove.

I also suggest using distilled water, instead of regular water, never tried mixing it with vinegar but I have to beleive distilled mixed with vinegar is better than regular water.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

--Update--

I tried using tap water+white vinegar. No luck at all! It's weird I swear it's like the spots are actually inside the window. When i used the 50/50 combo, NOTHING came off. It was just like how it was before. I used it on the inside and out.

I also used the clay bar on the inside of the windows with no luck.

Any other suggestions? Heading back to the dealer on Monday if this does not work.

i doubt the dealer will be of much assistance

maybe try some of these products that are specifically made for your problem:

http://www.gokart.net/shop-utopia/spotx/

heres a tutorial on cleaning water spots off your car's windows...it suggests using vinegar also...it says if the spots are left uncleaned for a couple weeks that they will etch the glass...if that is the case (which it seems that it is), it says that you need to use a glass polish to get them out

http://www.howtocleananything.com/hc...utowindows.htm

hope that helps!
