I read on here how good the Greddy counterweight shift knob was. I finally got it and it is as good as everyone says. Shifts are so much smoother and better feeling. Gets cold, but a good set of driving gloves during the winter will remedy that issue.

The main problem with all metallic shift knobs is that they burn your hand in the summer and freeze it in the winter. I'd go with the leather shift knob from momo. Razo makes one too and its less expensive

Shift knobs are nice, but I wouldn't recommend anything too cheesy like the skull shift knob...really undermines the car's style. My 2 cents.

Sorry to bring this thread from the dead, but a TON of people were asking if there are any carbon fiber knobs out there and I found two. Here they are:

I like the Kartboy a lot. For those as dumb as I am please screw the knob on really tight BEFORE you put the sticker on. I had half a turn left and it's upside down lol.

Its a great shift knob when its all really tight and stiff through the gears. Thats just why i keep either a glove or a sock in the car through the seasons Its either scolding hot or freezing cold.
