Painting stainless muffler

Is it relatively easy to paint stainless steel? I've been thinking about going stealth and painting the back end-cap of my muffler and exhaust tip flat black.

It's painted from the factory.
Use a good degreaser and scotchbrite or sandpaper to scuff prior to painting. Use high temp or very high temp paint.
