Advice! To canard or not to canard...

Well, I'm slapping a full C-west kit, CF hood, trunk, ganador mirros, engine trim, and dash trim in my evo, and giving it a fresh coat of black paint.....gonna stick wingless. Should I toss some APR CF canards on there or not? pics of black C-west w/ w/o canards?

I like the way they look, but honestly, you know some jerk is going to pass by your car when you go shopping and go "oh look, I wonder if this little carbon item is a step? Can it hold all my weight?" And then they are going to try it....same thing with the front splitter... they looks so cool, but people these days just dont respect property.

I say not... I love the look. And if its for track only then go for it. But, I agree that people have no respect anymore and your likely to have them broken off!

Imo i cant stand canards, unless your setup for downforce at the track then they have a purpose.

I just put my APR canards on today...I like the way they look, and yes I will be doing some track days. I say go for it, it's nice to get people's opinions, but you should do what you want to do.

Canards and spoilers serve the same purpose... People put spoilers and vortex generators on their street or show cars.

I understand if you don't like the look (though im sure you do otherwise this thread wouldn't exist), but if you do ... go for it

I have to agree. Even if you don't track your car, go for the canards, if that's what you want. Don't be afraid to keep that big-*** wing on the back of your car too … even if it never sees a track.
