WOW I feel bad for this guy now, but dude you have to know what you're getting into if you're gonna post up some pics like that. I myself have done some whack DIY mods that didnt quite work out as planned, but honestly if you like em, right on bro. I think spending $300 on "JDM" mirrors is the biggest waste of cash

 

yeah man.....it's not like we really meant to hurt your feelings...its just that its better to hear it from us, your fellow evo owners....other than civic or suby dudes laughing at you....which would hurt more? i think you know the answer..... about the saving weight part...its true..saving like 10 lbs. aint gonna do anything for your function concerns.....as fellow evo owners...we just wanna give you our opinion hope you dont take it to heart

 

FWIW I don't like the way Robi's purchased mirrors look either. It's all a matter of balance, on a svelt car like an FD, you can get away with tiny mirrors, but the Evo is very chunky, so small mirrors make it look like a hippopotomus. I don't even really like the way the Ralliart little clamshell mirrors look. It's all a matter of being in proportion. If you put our mirrors on a little Elise, they'd be overpowering, but on our car they're just right.
