As an aside, did you ever figure out if that was real carbon fiber in the interior or what it was? I can't tell from the pics, but I'm guessing it isn't real. Could you take a look or snap a couple shots when you get a chance please?

yeah ill try to take some pics up close this weekend. but the cf pattern is so freaking perfect that it has to be fake but when you look at it, you can see the fibers weaved together. ill post pics and you can decide for yourself.

Uh oh, I think it's fake from what I've been hearing around. Does anyone make a real carbon panel or kit for the pieces in there? Fake carbon is a pet peeve of mine and would honestly be something that would make or break the decision to get an IX if I couldn't replace it.

oh im sorry ... i thought you were talking about my ralliart lip. Yeah the interior is fake CF. i havent seen any replacment kits yet but if it really bugs you, you can get the interior piece that comes in the EVO 8 ... that one is plain silver.
