i just didnt like the way it looked because of the shape of the stock exhaust tip. maybe im just picky but i think it sticks out a lot since the jdm bumper is slimmer and since the 9 cuts in at the bottom, it makes it stick out. it might just be me tho.

She may have her priorities straight, but to better word it; you can kick out thousands in car parts but can't run to the nearest best buy and spend 3-400 on a vid cam? I'd think wasting money this fast on upgrades would yield you at least having spare money for other things such as hanging out, rainy days, spare money for tools, good times (not inclusive of cars), and other forms of enjoyment.

Oh well if its not going to happen it just won't, guess I'll hear it when I order mine. Good luck with the car, I'm done with this thread.

is that a flaw in the bumper or just dust or something? and whats the other white stuff? could be reflections or sparkle, but it caught my eye. i was looking into that bumper too, but not if it is going to be flawed.

Interesting point. She knows coming in that she is going to be one of the few girls in the scene, like any girl would know in any automotive group. So why not pick an androgynous screen name and leave out any pink pithy quotes in your sig if you really want to stay under cover? But OTOH, she's proud of being a woman with a kick *** ride and wants to show it off like every other member here has the right to, does that mean she is obligated to being asked a billion stupid questions about how she looks and if she's dating by a bunch of undersexed guys who need to get out more? First they are telling her she has to go get a vidcam for an exhaust test, then they'll say, "Well how come you aren't in the video?"

last night i remembered that my digital camera does have a video feature with audio. am i going to post up a sound clip? probably not.

 

i think its ok for the exhaust to stick out a little bit...you get less of the black film that comes out and stains the bumper area above the exhaust ...ive seen some of this happen w/ evo who run the hks exhaust...it doesnt stick out enough so all the exhaust fumes rises and stain the bumpers....

 

yeah thats true. i just wasnt expecting it to stick out at all because it doesnt on the jdm evo7/8 rear bumper.

 

So the Amuse exhaust is designed for the JDM car right? I think I've noticed most JDM exhausts on JDM cars sticking out a little. So it looks fine to me. No soot, no melting.

is there any way that you'd be able to post a shot of the rear so i could get a good look at the piping relative to the IX rear bumper?

also, if there's any way you'd be able to send a sound clip to me via email i'd really, really appreciate it.

one more thing, i see that your muffler cannister is finished with the gradient-blue look. would it have been possible to order the entire system - piping and cannister, like that?

i'm considering the extra-titan in 80mm myself, but would like to see some more pictures and perhaps hear it before i jump on it.
