Hmm, where did you order the exhaust from? I'm curious because your amuse muffler looks different than the one on the site

it looks different because you can choose how you want it burned ... exhaust canister, full tip, or both. Oh and mine is the R1 Titan w/o the resonator.

Did you have your Amuse exhaust on with your stock bumper? The reason I'm asking is because I like the way your exhaust is positioned in relation to your new bumper. My TurboXS sits a little low on the stock bumper and I want to get a JDM 9 bumper. But I don't want it to look stupid by sitting too low. Know what I mean?

Sorry if you have covered this, didn't want to go through 43 pages. I'm sure you don't mind up racking up the posts anyway. Car looks great BTW.

it wont fit correctly with the stock bumper because the stock one comes out further than the JDM one. i think if you put an exhaust designed for a USDM stock bumper, the exhaust tip will stick out WAY too much. I could be wrong but just keep in mind how much smaller the 9 bumper is and how it cuts in at the bottom because of the diffuser.

Also, what color was your bumper before it was painted? Did the shop mask off the diffuser or did they just shoot the entire piece GG and come back and repaint the diffuser?

The car is lookin' great, btw! You have quality taste in parts! Keep it up!

its not melted. my mechnic cut the bumper to fit the ehaust. it hasnt done any damage to the canister. i actually swapped exhausts with my bf so now i have the amuse 70mm with the blue burned tip. looks much better.

they masked off the diffuser.

thanks.

my luck i'd mess something up or scrape the thing trying to put it on while the car is on jack stands. its easy for my mechanic cuz he has a lift.
