^ Are you using an undertray? Because the ACD needs the cooling afforded by the vent you blocked with the license plate.

And its about $2,400 to replace (stealership price).

 

No sir I have no under tray. The plate is slightly bent at the top so air can still pass through. Once I get my ideas finalized for my front plate, it won't be there anymore.

Your hood seems like its too low. You may need to raise it a little because if you look at the transition line from the hood and fender its miss aligned.

Otherwise love the E-Blue VIII front bumper with do-luck style carbon lip. I have the same but took off the lip for winter.

I have my front plate installed in front of the ACD as well. However I zip locked it from the outside and just bent the plate slightly to curve out with the groove of the bumper. (if that makes sense)

PS I dont believe the ACD pump needs to be cooled like an oil cooler. If I'm not mistake the ACD or AYC on Euro/JDM evos are located under the rear bumper with out any cooling either. Also my car is my daily driver so running an undertray and covering the front prevents the pump from corroding from winter salt.
