After months of researching, reading endless threads, talking about it (should i get an evo or sti) - I finally settled on an Evo 9 MR GG. Four doors for the family - power and performance for track days - can't beat it for the money and fun factor. I'll give it a couple of weeks maybe months to get the handling down and pushing the car to its "stock" limits before I start mod process or maybe I'll just leave it stock.

Sti is a nice car too but i'm not liking the front end at all even when I saw it in person. The other thing about the Sti is that it looks to similar to the wrx. At least the Evo looks significantly different from the OZ lancers. Don't flame me lancers!!

yeah I do like the Sti front on the full-blown rally car but its just not working for me on the consumer level - its all personal preference like you said.
