Oh man what a mess. First EVO8.com sent me the VII instead of the VIII so I just put EVOLUTION on instead. Well I tried to use a strip of tape on the shiny side then just peel the sticky off and appy. Well the tape didn't go on staight so I had to pull off the last four letters and do it free hand. I am in the garage and my dog comes in to investigate. Well when I am done I have EVOLUTON and I can't find the I. I am looking everywhere and then I notice my dog shaking his foot. That fat piece of crap stepped on it and now I have hair all over it. Well I finally got it cleaned as best as possible but don't know how long it will hold . I think it looks decent but my wife thinks I paid a retard from Wal Mart to do it

Well, if you spelled it EVOLUTON you can add that "I" to the VII and make it a VIII.

you could have used scissors to cut off the VII portion so you didn't have to do that

 

You should buy some trim adhesive from a parts store and remount that letter. If you lose it you're going to have to take them all off.

Hopefully, when I put mine on sometime tonight, I won't go through something like this.

 

it's hard to say without a picture, it might have come out ok, but if that was me I would have scapped it and just ordered another badge and did it right one time.

 

It's funny stories like this that keep me coming to this site Maybe you can take off all the letter down to just EVO if it looks too bad.
