DIY r-view mirrors F1 Style

Got them cheap for $20. I ordered universal ones with a small circular base but seller sent me the wrong ones with a trangular base. I think it worked out better as i was able to carve the base and make it fit. The wrong mirror also had a side marker light on it that i didn't want so i just painted over it, and yes i know it's fake carbon fiber thus the $20 price tag. I got these for function not looks even though i kinda like the look. Atleast half the weight and more aerodynamic. Every little bit helps. As with my last post about the stripped RS, not really interested in negative feedback, but let the flamefest begin anyway.

Seems like a lot of people are interested in the interior, mind doing a write up on how you stripped all the parts out?

Yeah so people have something to work with in regards to where bolts and screws are located, best way to remove panels, etc..

how do you deal with the road noise? I just took out the back seat and that is bad enough.

do you know if those mirrows really have less drag?
