i did lil mods to the vis and it fits like a glove....
what is it you did to "make it fit like a glove"?

i just sand down the area the bolts gets screwed in the trunk kinda of like running spacer but the opposite...take out space...i dont know if that made sense?

Yes...inside latch is it. And you MUST remove the "springs" inside the trunk or you'll be throwing your C/F trunk lid over your car

damn i just ordered mine a couple days ago and seibon charged me $720 for the trunk and $580 for the hood + $270 shipping

I had a vis, with some mods, sat perfectly too.

I just reversed the trunk latch [on the car] and then used some washers. It didn't close nearly as nice as the stock trunk, but i'm assuming most CF trunks are like this...
